amp openers?

never used them......paper towel works just as well...never had any problems

I juse use some paper towel.
wrap the top part in the paper then crack it open.
Works fine.

just but your thumb as close as u can to each other at the dot.....and....snap. never had any problems and it dosent get any cheaper. hope that helps

well.. i got an amp opener, cost me $7.50. its effective, you also dont run the risk of getting a small shard of glass falling into your amp or into your finger like these paper tower users. for 7 bucks why not

Just bust it off there, amp openers are of no real benefit IMO. I do always use a filtered syringe though-read an article on how much glass contaminates amps when broken(even with an amp opener)really opened my eyes.

Damn I hate amps, I usually take a file and go around them for like 3 minutes then I snap it to get a nice clean snap.
