If you sleep in a shitty environment, too dry, too humid, too hot or cold (pretty much two extremes of something.) You will wake up with pains.
If I sleep on my left side of my back, I feel that in my kidney and my lungs. If I sleep on my chest and ribcage side I feel it in my heart, ribcage and stomach. And on my right side I feel it in my liver.
Also, I notice that I don't get this pain if I don't sleep for more than 8 hours. I also believe that I read somewhere that sleeping more than 8 hours could increase your risk of a heart attack. So it's about moderation.
Use a humidifier and a heater in your room since it's winter time now (unless you live somewhere really warm,) and try not to over or undersleep.
I went to the doctor for this too and he said everything was fine. They took a blood test and everything came back good. However, if your pain doesn't stop after doing all of my recommendations, then I would seriously rec. seeing a professional doc. Good luck bro.
