When I send money to my domestic supplier is It ok to use my name.

I dont believe you can get away with not using your name! everytime I

send WU They ID me and make sure the name matches!

Im pretty sure you must have postive ID!

You only need to show ID if sending 999.00USD or above bros, whether it be domestic or international. Furthermore, you only have to show ID if receiving more than 999USD.

That's at any USA WU branch, at a grocery store, pharmacy etc....At a true WU branch the rules may vary???

Test question at the end makes it not necessary to show ID if picking up funds.

Truly, if sending less than 1k, you can fabricate all cells including name, addy, etc....

I stupidly put my real name on my last two WU payments. Grrr, the lady never asked for my ID. I felt like just cancelling the transfer and starting over, but I got lazy, oh well

its not against the law to send money, and if you use your real name theres no consequence for it. trust this.............if they want you they will find you, whether you use your real name or not. it might help you get out of a jam if you didnt use your real name, but it might also hurt you as well if they can trace it to you anyway........its called fraud. so either way youre screwed. this has been covered here before with many differing opinions, and this is just mine.............

I actually work for WU..lol..and planetx pretty much hit it right on the head..if ur receiving money, use the test question, when sending money the name you put needs to match the address you put and phone number if necassary...we do call back alot of times to verify, hell it even happens to me

i use my real name when sending funds.just in case there is a problem i will be able to prove it was me who sent the money.
there no law broken in sending money!
