Hepatitis C vs. Steroids??
Hepatitis C vs. Steroids ??
I have a younger brother that recently was tested positive for Hep C.
He is interested in using gear BUT we do not know if it would do more harm then good? I cannot find clear information on this subject. Was hoping that somebody here could help him out? Your info is greatly appreciated!!

With all due respect, I don't think trying to get an aswer here warrants any merit on your brother's behalf. Find an open minded doctor and get his input.

As far as I know, there are no licenced physicians on this board. However, I would think since Hep-C destroys the liver, anything making your blood more toxic and damaging to the liver would not be in your best interest. That is if you want to live for a long time without a liver transplant. But I aint not doctor.

I also have a friend who has hep c. His liver is accually shutting down
so I would think that anything you take that is hard on the liver would
be the worst thing to do.

you can take gear as long as you keep it reasonable, I wouldnt take more then 400 mg of test, and also nothing that is hard on the liver IE: anadrol IMO

I have several friends who have C and do / have done gear. I think he can do gear but it would be better to find an open minded doctor.. at least he should get bloodwork done often enough..

There are different strains of Hep C. Some worse than others. Also, it would most likely depend on how much damage has been done by the Hep C already. Some people who have and have had it for years show little or no real pressing damage to their livers. Don't take my word for it though because I'm not a doctor.

Your brother will need to get blood tests to check liver function. If everything is normal he may proceed with AAS use.

Thanks Everybody!!
i appreciate everyones feedback on this matter!! i think it would probably be best if he did seek the interferon treatment and then maybe go from there. i sure dont want to kill my own brother.
thanks again!!
