Sometimes when shooting you hit a nerve which makes your muscle contract. Is it necessary to pull the needle back out and shoot in a different spot, or is it ok to shoot if the needle has already passed through the nerve.

This ususally only happens to me when I inject into the quads, my muscle spasms or twitches while Im putting the needle in but I dont move it to a different spot. I know it feels weird at first but now it doesn't even bother me
ya it was my quad, you mean it never happened to your glute
happened to my glute before, just kept goin
I only do quads like today. I injected 3 cc's of test. I jabbed and felt a slight pain. Pulled out and moved it approx 1" and then had no problem. You could do what i did a few weeks ago and get real close to the sciatic nerve oer something and inject. First time I ever needed crutches to walk with in 40 years. Have to be carefull with the quad injections.
Just remember to aspirate. If you pull blood, reshoot another location. If not, you're good to go.
happens in my shoulders everytime...i just keep going and it keeps trying to kick the needle out.
if u go through a nerve you will know. it's not goin to make you twitch its going to hurt like hell. the twitching is just natural i think happens with quad shots for me most of the time.
