test val breaks when trying to pop the top part off

This was my first shot today and my friend gave it to me. When i brook the top of the val the glass brook and cut my finger. he said it'll be fine and glass won't be drawned into the needle. what way to you guy use to break the top of the vals off.

Score the neck and use a pen cap. Better, you can buy an amp opener.

small triangle file from hardware store, $4. File down neck will pop off, or file and use a pen cap.

first off its an amp, no one breaks the top off a vial. Second, just get a paper towel and bundle it up and use that.....try to snap it to the side, not crush it in your fingers

i break mine with my fingers and never had a problem. i will say this though.. i have noticed that fakes are hard to break open "not that yours is fake" but they seem to be thicker around the neck.

i just get a cloth/shirt or whatevers near wrap it round the top and break it off,
