I am 25 and have been off cycle for 3 months and I am getting ready get a family doctor (dont have one), I do have health insurance.
What should I tell the doctor I want tested and how can I tell him so my insurance will cover it. Thanks in advance.

Is this the standard , or should I just copy and paste this list and print it out for him to see. I have blue cross and I called them and they cover "complete chemical work up and urinalysis, not sure what this includes.
I am not going to tell him I took steroids but I am going to tell him my one uncle had non-hutchkins lynkoma, and one had low test levels ( from steroids but doctor does not need to know that.
Any idea if all these things below are part of complete chemical work up.

Your best bet is to tell him what you have been up to. Don't make your doctor guess what is going on. That is the main reason for DR patient confidentiality. If he was to break that his practice and him personaly can be sued and he could lose his license.Originally Posted by msu16366
many say the same but then many others insist that u dont... It would ofcourse be better to tell but that is if u really trust the doctor and he doesnt put anything on file.. I know I aint saying nothing to no one since I live in small town and study medicine and ppl knowing could have very bad consequences for me..Originally Posted by FranKieC
i just had bloodwork done today with LabCorp and on my sheet it doesn't have all of the options it just says "lipid profile" "liver function" etc. i did have the option to ask for testosterone AND free testosterone, which i made sure to do. they said the results will be in later this week, so we'll see what i'm at
Well I went to the doctor today and before he sent the nurse in to take the blood I asked him if he wanted me to be honest with him.
He seemed cool so I told him how a ran a cycle of steroids,
Ofcourse he said they are bad for you and sooner or later they will cause problems.
Anyways atleast now he is testing for everything, test levels and all that.
Hope I am good to go to start my next cycle january 1.

Oh I forgot, the doctor said that steroids would eventually shrink your balls and cock over time.
