take glycerin before bed, it will help you retain water and decrease urinary issues.

however you may have Blood glucose/insulin sensitivity issues- as indicated by your symptoms

If that is the case, will the glycerin help or worsen my problem?

it will help, but only by reducing the symptoms mentioned.

do you get ecessively tired after carb meals?

    I wouldn't say excessively.
I just find that I wake up dehydrated.

    It may not be hydration,
When you sleep for 8 hours with no calories in your body, your body will burn what ever you have saved up per say.
Try drinking some caesin protien before bed you will notice a huge difference in weight. I had the same problem, I would weigh 5 lbs lighter every morning, bought some pm protien from GNC, now I dont have that problem.
