help with diaretics

I need so help with my diaretics I have. Right now I have HCTZ Hidroclorotiazida by Lisan 25mg tabs. I am wanting to suck the excess water out of my syswtem but this is the first time I am running this. My stats are as follows. Age 29, height 6 - 3 weigth 207 body fat at 4.75 right now. I am on a strict diet plan and just want to see how these will help me if I am going to do a show. Thanks. How long can I run them, what do I need to do before and during when I am on them. Thanks

I don't know much about your drug but I've ran lasix and spironolactone which are both most likely more powerful.

I'm not sure on your dosages but you'll need to drink plenty of water and take in potassium and sodium to replace what you piss out. They're imperative for your heart.

thanks for your input. How long would you stay on a diaruetic? I just do not want to totally drain my muscules and look flat. Anybody else have any more in put?
