Strattera and a cycle?

Does anyone know if there are any problems taking Strattera with a cycle? it is a drug for ADHD (NOT a stimulant)..

Strattera is a clean, safe SNRI. I can't see why there would be any probs. I know some people take stimulants and/or antidepressants to counteract certain steroid side effects.

This statement is absolutely false...you should be VERY careful when taking Strattera while on steroids , and also be very careful from the newbs who are giving you advice!

From the medical journal itself...

"Straterra is considered a Norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. Norepinephrine
is the brain's adren****. Norephinephrine is involved in the increased rate
and force of the heart muscle, constriction of heart muscles, pulmonary
function (Hedaya, 1999). If these functions are increased, it would be
evident that Strattera could produce possible untoward effects on the
cardiovascular system."

In layman's terms? Evelvated blood pressure. Couple that with the high BP caused by steroids, heavy physical activity, and bad genetics, you're looking at a possible stroke/heart attack.

Be very careful and monitor your BP if you're going to do both!

Do your research, I would check for interactions between steroids and Strattera. If in doubt, ask your doctor...

I would say discontinue strattera during your cycle, it has implications for BP and liver toxicity if you are using any orals.
