Whats the deal with gyno?

It seems the majority of people who have cycled have had to deal with gyno before. What I havent understood is why people panic so much when the word comes up, is there anything worth panicing over? The worst peice of information I have come across is that having high estrogen levels lower your bodys natural test which may affect your gains or size once your off a cycle.

Now obviously one with gyno shouldnt just leave it there. How directly related is gyno to to cancer? Its not all that hard to be removed, if not but anti-es the surgury is very common.

Is gyno something to panic over?
