Question about the chance of injecting into a vein
When injecting, once the needle passes through the skin/fat and goes into the muscle, how is it possble to inject into a vein? Are there veins in the muscle? I've always wondered this.

Yes there are veins in there, at any depth.

yup, you have veins all over....arteries, too....usually the larger veins are close to the surface, but arteries are pretty deep....If you stick (no pun) to the recommended sites and aspirate , you'll be fine.

I always do aspirate , just never really knew if there were veins in the muscle or not. I pass through veins sometimes when getting into the muscle, but never pulled blood.
