I heard that if you do HCG 5000iu once a week plus your chosen dose of testosterone that the resulting increase in test is double that of your dose due to your testicles producing its own testosterone. Just heard this in the gym...curious about the validity of it.
Not true. Your "testicles" produce about 70mg/week so unless you are taking 70mg of test a week, I don't see any validity to this claim.

If a person is a first time user, would they need HCG? I am wondering this, for when I cycle in the future.
For future cycles, I'll be using HCG, near the end, middle, or right the way through to prevent/reduce testicular inhibition.Quote:

HCG during a cycle is a very good idea, hoever you should look at using 5000 IU once a month not every week. An even better choice although less available is proviron. proviron not only increases sperm output but acts as an anti estrogen and opens the receptors up to allow better benefit from the gear you are using. Proviron should be used during and post cycle.
5000 iu/wk is way to much. 500iu/wk during cycle is plenty. Using such a high dose risks down regulating LH receptors in the testes. Which would really hinder recovery after the cycle is over. Such a high dose would also create massive amounts of estrogen in your body, risking gyno and all the other nasty things that come with that.Quote:

Yep. In many medical situations hCG is prescribed for use during test treatment to maintain testicular size and function (spermatogenesis, testosterone, etc). It makes coming off much easier if the boys have not shrunk and are functioning normally.Quote:
