    Cytomel/T3/Synthroid

Is Synthroid (Levothyroxine) the same basic thing as Cytomel ? If you do a Yahoo search on a drug name and read the profile that comes up, they treat the same thing.

If so, anyone know the dosages for Synthroid comared to Cytomel? Reason I ask is Synthroid is 1) a lot cheaper and 2) a lot easier to get (legally).

    Thanks!

synthroid is the synthetic version of the thyroid t4 hormone where as cytomel is the synthetic t3. t4 is much weaker than t3 at burning fat but can still be used successfully at doses of between 100-200mcgs daily. it's usually best to stack with clenbuterol on a 4 week cutting cycle and maybe add a small amount of test e in there to prevent muscle loss

Think of it this way: Synthroid is T4, and T4 is ~5 weaker than T3. If a person needs 100ug of T3, they would need roughly 500ug of T4. Will that still be cheaper?
