What is the safest way to do Western Union? Online or in person? I know both ways leaves a trail. Everywhere around here wants ID to send money. This will be the first time that i have used WU to order gear.

I have never had to give I.D. to send money and the recipient has never had to give I.D. to pick up money. You can give any name and address and you can add a test question option for the reciever to use instead of I.D. Cost me 30.00 bucks though. Go to a wu place and pick up phone and they will tell you what to do. Just have all your info ready.

i've never had probs. with WU. they have never asked for i.d.,also if you use your real addy they just send you a bunch of junk mail. they dont know why your sending money,and probably dont care they just want thier outragous FEE!!!
