    Low Body temp on T3

Is it true that some people run hotter or cooler than others.

All of my readings (on multiple thermometers) is between 96 and 97.6 degrees.

    Is this normal?

    Bro,

everyone's baseline number will be slightly different. The object with a med like this is to take your temp before beginning the use of it. Now you have a baseline figure from which to monitor yourself. For instance, my everyday temp tends to run a bit higher than most folks. I'm in the 99.0 to 99.4 area under normal conditions, depending on the time of day of measurement and other external factors. When running T3, I only typically see small, incremental increases in temp--I suppose because I run higher to begin with.
Last time I ran it, I measured 99.6 to 99.8...not much of a change on scale.
However, results from the med were pretty good.

Also, it obviously depends on dosage. I taper up to 100mcgs/day when running T3 for 6 weeks. How much are you running?

80 mcg per day evenly spaced.

I think my base temp runs low. I've been sick as a dog in the past, but my temp was only 98.8 degrees, which isn't too much higher tha average, but I felt horrible.
My extremities (hands and feet) are often cold to the touch also.

Today I noticed an increase in average temp to 98.1, which is up from 97 yesterday.

Do you taper down when you're done with T3 or stop cold turkey? I've read people do it both ways.

Yep, I still believe in the old-school taper up and down. I know there are many who feel this isn't necessary. However, when it comes to my thyroid, I tend to be extra cautious...

Lion told me my problem was spacing out the dose. Any thoughts on this?

The half-life of T3 is somewhere in the 28 to 36 hour range--depending upon which pharmaceutical company research paper you read. That would suggest that spacing the doasge out isn't necessary. You might try taking it one time per day and see what impact that has. I take mine one time per day.

t3 isn't a thermogenic like clen or ephedrine are. so it shouldn't have any effect on your temperature anyway

What time of the day are you taking your temp.? What method are you using?

Where is the T3 from (brand, etc.)?

Something maybe askew that's not thyroid related... other glands, etc....

Be sure to check your temp. first thing in the morning before hopping out of bed....

Also, going higher than the mid-98's is where the chances of going catabolic are very high....

Additionally, tapering down slowly from a dosage like 80mcg's day isn't needed, doing so will only prolong the time til your thyroid can recover.

Are you a complete f*cking idiot?

Your thyroid is what manipulates your metabolism.

....if you don't know what the hell you're talking about, don't post.
