    Cytomel T4 Starting Today but need HELP!

    I am about to start my first cycle ever. I am going to be taking Cytomel T4 aka L-Thyroxine Sodium. My question is has anyone ever taken this that is willing to help me with my cycle. I have the oral 50mcg tablets. I was thinking about going with the cycle I listed below.

    Other then that I am curious on waht I should expect so I don;t freak out. Will I get jittery like when taking ephedrine? I guess I am just trying to get as much info from people who have experimented with this as I can. Any info you guys can give me would be great. Oh one more thing. I heard that I should cut back on cardio and go extra hard in my lifting to make up for possible muscle breakdown from taking this. Thanks in advance guys and girls!

    I coud be wrong but I think those doses are a little light for T4, I believe that as a rule of thumb you need 4x more than if you ran T3.
    Consult Blown_SC or Mallet for a more definitive answer before you take any.

    Yea I understand what yoru saying completely but I am very drawn back from taking to much or high dosages due to the fact you could really screw up your Thyroid Gland by doing that I heard. Can anyone else confirm or deny this and also help me out with what I stated above? Thanks

    Run a search on "thyroid", and one on "cytomel" and read up, it is generally accepted now that the thyroid will bounce back after T3 / T4 supplementation but don't take my word for it, just read as many threads on the subject as you can find, it is important to remember that the vast majority of information on here is opinion rather than hard fact so the more you read the easier it will be for you to decide what you think is valid and what is not.

    T4 thyroid hormone and cytomel are different. No need to run both. T4(synthroid) hormone is less potent than cytomel(t3). Am I understanding your question?

    If you are going to run the t4 than 50mcg is not enough. If you are going to run cytomel than 50mcg is adequate.

    tboney: I know all about Cytomel and T4. People Generalize T3 and T4 as cytomel. I am more interested in the cycle I am taking and what people think of it. My profile is pretty much looking like this:
    Age:24
    Height: 6'4
    Weight: 294lbs.
    Former: D1 defensive end for Northwestern.

    I went form a solid 275 to a plump 294. I have a good diet and did a ton of Cardio to get ready to cycle this. Please give any info you can to help me out guys.

    I'm not saying anything about your diet because I know nothing about it, but I thought my diet was good until I read up in the diet section here - loads of good info.
    My opinion on ALL fat burning supplements be it T3/T4, clen, ECA has always been that they will speed up fat burning but you need to have your diet and exercise regimen worked out so that the fat is already coming away slowly, then drop in some supplementation to speed things along.

    So are you going to take the t3?? or t4? Whichever you take my experience is that they do work for fat loss! Make sure that you take them on an empty stomach. That is important.

    I am taking T4. I am not needing help with my diet or my workout I am asking for info from people who have taken this or can give me feedback on my cycle. I also wanted to let Tboney know that I have heard the oppostie when taking the T4. I heard you are suppose to take it with food to better help the absorbtion. Can anyone comment on this for me as well?

    T3 is alot more effective IMO.

    As far as your dosing schedual I myself would never exceed 75 mcg of t3. I would personally start at 50 mcg and see how your body tolerates it. After a few days you can adjust your dose accordingly.

    T4 at 50 mcg is not enough. I have a thyroid condition and knoow about these compounds. Taking either with food will reduce the effectivness. I am sure of that.

    I was under the impression it only slowed the absorption rather than preventing it, taking it on an empty stomach spins me out.

    Tboney what about a cycle? What kind of results did you see?


    Does anyone know what this symbol is on the packaging? It looks like a backwards "y" and it says something liek this "50ym" Does this mean 50 mcg?

    That may be that it can make you jittery however taking it with food will render it less effective

    I don't doubt you but why is that? - The vast majority of drugs are absorbed better with food.

    Tboney I really appriciate your info. Please don't take it personal if I continue to ask others for their opinions and knowledge as well. Anything you are able to tell me is a huge help. Is their anyone else out there that is willing to help me with my dosage and cycle? I am also trying to get a feel for peoples success with this.

    Tboney: Yea I already received my T4 and getting ready to start today or tomorrow. T3 is deff somethign I would look at in the future but right now I want to work into it with this.

    Before my thyroid condition appeared I took 50mcg of t3 ed. I took it for about 3 weeks and lost a decent amount of weight. If your diet and cardio is in check I believe that you will have some success. My experience with t4 was short lived as I opted for a diff type of thyroid hormone. If it has to be t4, then I would start at around 90 mcg of t4 and move up to 150 or so and see how your body reacts.

    Trouble with T4 is that your body still has to convert it to the more potent T3, I think I read in one of Mallet's posts about certain supplements that will aid in the conversion.

    As I said google the prescribing info for thyroid hormone and you will see what I am talking about. Food does not always increase absorption. It can slow down and lessen the impact that you are looking for.

    No problem you want to be sure about it before you take these compounds so I can appreciate your desire to get informed Hope I helped. Not small is correct when he says that t4 is really not active. Only after the conversion of t4 to t3 does the fat loss become really effective

    I decided to use T4 after seeing my Best Friends girl go from 30 pounds overweight to a slim good lookin chick. I am hoping to see these kind of results or even something close to these results would be nice.


    Still looking for help with my cycle and others with experience with T4 and their results. Thanks for the help and keep it coming.

    i take t4 sometimes at end of cycle took at 450 per day. it needsd to be taken 1 hr before eating or 2 hours after to help absorb the hormone says right on the instructions you need need script here so i buy in the pharmacy.

    Brazil with me being 295lbs right nwo would you suggest I start with 50mcg and hit 150mcg a day at my high point or start at 25mcg a day and move up to 100mcg a day at my high point? Anyhting you can tell me would be helpfull.

    well if were talking about T4 thats way to low i only weigh 190! I think there is too much confusion when most people talk about doseage they are refering to T3 but if you have T4 and your sure than start at 150 and work till 450. read under steroid profiles for more info. i started with one tab of 150 and one more at night, then after a week went to 2 tabs in morning and 1 at night. got warm but no shakes.
