    Somatotypes...Can they be changed ?

Im naturally an ectomorph but throught a correct diet, anabolics and hard work in the gym i would like to think iv changed my somatotype into more of a mesomorphic-ectomorph...Am i right in thinking somatotypes can be changed to some extent ?

I have some of the ectomorph charictaristics allthough some i do not...See what you think and judge my somatotype...I am

    small bone structured
    lean
    have a Fast matabolism
    dont gain much fat
have to work hard to gain weight

    - But then again i dont fit into the somatotype for a few reasons

I have a really fat neck (Ectos have pencil necks)
I have huge shoulders (i think ectos should have small shoulders)

am i right in thinking i have alterd my somatotype ?

I`ve red that you can, and I believe you can. A friend of mine was an ectomorph before started working out, and now he is more like meso-ecto like you. And I were more of an endo, and now im more endo-meso. So yeah, I think you can change.

Most people are born with different attributes of the different somatypes, you rarely get anyonw who was born 100% meso,100% ecto, or 100% endo, we usually all have attributes from at least two different somatypes.

Flex wheeler for example might be 70%MESO,30%ECTO, with his small joints and narrow clavicles but will also build muscle easily.
