Do you consider upping your doses based on ester?
Wondering this. I admit I was not really aware of the difference until lately.
So if I take 500mg of test e I am only really getting about 350mg of test, because the rest is ester (about 70mg per 100mg injected is actual testosterone )
Prop is like 86 mg per 100mg injected.
Suspension is 100mg per 100mg injected.
So when I do test e, and say it is 300mg per ml and I want 600 mg of test, if I shoot 2ml a week, I am only really getting about 420mg?
Should I bump the injection volume up to just under 3ml per week to compensate. Why only put in 2ml and get 420mg of test when I want 600mg?
Does any one adjust based on ester, kinda seems like a big deal when you are talking long esters.

No need to adjust for the ester. Your body doesnt give a shit if it is receiving nice rounded numbers like 500mg or not.

I kind of base everything on the test enanthate ester. Since that is the first one that I used, I kind of set the bar at that. If I am doing prop., I may do a little bit less and suspension definitely less. But when I think of 600 mg. of test, I think of it as 600 mg. test enanthate. Does that make sense?

Sure. I wonder when they do these studies where they say the administered 600mg of test cyp a week, if they actually put 600mg of test in the people's body or 420mg + the ester. Kinda throws me for a loop. That has got to be why people prefer shorter esters who want a higher blood concentration of test.

Yeah, I realise that. But when I started I based my first cycle on 400 mg. test enanthate . My second cycle included 600 mg. of test enanthate. So when I set my doses, I base them on the results that I received from that.
For example: If I decided that I wanted to move my test up for my next cycle from 1000 to 1200mg./week, those doses would be based on me using test enanthate. You are correct test e is only 72mg. of test. So if I decided that I was using test suspension instead, I would probably only do 1000 mg. because I would round it up from the 866mg. of test in the test enanthate.
I am just saying that since test e was the first thing that I used, I base all other doses to some extent off what they would be accordingly with test e.
