Dissapointed with cycle so far....
Ok so i am in week 6 of my 1st cycle of Test E @ 400 mg/wk and I am not seeing or feeling much of anything right now. I have gained about 15 lbs but 10 of that came in the first 2 weeks and I think its just from all the extra calories Ive been consuming. Im getting around 5,000 cals a day and 400g of protein. So i know my diet is in check. I guess the biggest dissapointment for me is that my strength has only gone up slightly, probably just from all the eating i am doing. I guess what Im asking is when am i going to see the DRAMATIC strength gains that everyone talks about with their first cycle?? I thought I would really be feeling it by now. And if I don't start to get more out of this in the next 2 weeks and my gear is bunk, should i stop and get ready to start my PCT? Im pretty deppressed right now, i dont know if my expectations were to high or what. Also my goals for this cycle were to get a lot stronger, im not as concerned with weight gain, i just want to gain a lot of strength. Thanks for any input.

In this case you should of used test pop or (and) an oral to kick start the cycle like Var or Dbol ,if you can add an oral,to surport your cycle.

yup.. u might still start gaining but if u expect to become huge after a single cycle then ur expectations were too high..

Its easy to tell if the gear is bunk when using testosterone .
First is libido, that should hit you relatively fast. Second is water-weight.
Strenght gains should be noticed in 4 weeks, defently in 6.

well i think my libido is pretty high right now, but im 21 so my libido is already high to begin with, so its kind of hard to tell if its all in my head or what

Im 5'11'' 230 lbs, about 12% Bf and the gear is a UGL so i probably shouldnt mention the name of it

21 or not you will even screw a fat chick for an hour while on test! Next time you should kick start your cycle with Dbol or Andro for 4 weeks and within your first week you will definitly see results.

Bro I also think I might up your dose. Sometimes it takes longeer to see a big change. How much have you gained? What is your height and weight? What are you going to use for your pct when done cycling? Good luck bro!

Do you know your BF%, that would let you know if the 15 pound gained was mostly muscle and not just fat from the increased calories.
About the strength gains ive seen some people myself included gain good muscle mass on cycle without a huge rise in strength, while others gain a lot of strength and not much muscle just depends on the individual and there genetics. Maybe your more cut out for bodybuilding than powerlifting.

I will tell you of my experience and what I beleive. You are 5ft11, 230lbs and 12%. Thats pretty big IMO. Youve gained 15lbs, your not happy and your strength hasnt gone up alot. IMO you need more gear. I beleive that the bigger you are the more gear you need to grow. First cycle or not. A 160lbs guy will gain more than a 230lbs guy even using the same dosages IMO. Alot of guys will disagree with me on this but this is what I beleive.
Same happened with me. I didnt gain much size from test but strength was nice. 500mgs a week just wasnt enough for me I guess and im thinking the same with you. Like I said the bigger you are the more you need.
There is a reason people use higher dosages. Think about it. The bigger you get, the more gear you need to get past that point. At 230lbs 400mgs a week isnt enough. Dont be disheartened. 750mgs would be a better bet for you. People will say 500 is more than enough for you but let me ask these guys. How many guys are there out there that weigh 230 and can make gains off 500mgs a week? Only super genetically gifted people I assume.
IMO the bigger you are the more gear you need. There are guys on this board that weigh less than you and need over a gram a week to grow. Think about it................

if you in week 6, and its underdosed test, then the gains wont be as stong imo. you should up your dose to either 500 to 600 mg /week and see how it goes from there. by now the test should be kickin in so gains should be easily noticed.

I had the same problem with QV test Enantat 250. I gained a total of 7 lbs. sucks, but my sex drive was up.....at times. And i did recieve a little bit of gyno signs, but nothing serious. Also, a little bit of increased acne. Nothing too serious though. This lead me to believe my gear was underdosed.

i dont think so bro, if you keep it consitant for the remainder of you cyc you should be ok. just keep hittin it 2x a week, mondays thurs or something of that.. and honestly if its underdosed.. try goin for what would be 600 mg, you might only be gettin 400-500mg then.

15 pounds and yur not happy some people dont go over 10 ..
up the dose to 500-700
and keep up w/e you are doing .. the test is still kicking in

upping it will if you keep upping the dosage. but do this and keep it consistent and you should be ok. I would go for 600mg because you dont know "how" underdosed it is. I suppose though 600mg would be too much for you so you might be able to get away with it. Its a touchy subject.

yeah 15lbs is a pretty good gain id say. but i see what your saying. your a big guy already. your used to people saying they gained like some 25lbs of a test only cycle. ok, thats cool but most of it is water weight. AND Not everyone is the same.

15 is decent if theres lil bloat.. theres been times ive gained 20-30lbs off a bulker. running test, usually with something else though.. and only kept 10-15 of it.
however its your 1st go so, you should just take this as judgement for your future cyc ideas. i would finish this at that higher dosage and see the results and then determine how well this went.

Believe me, im more than pleased with gaining 15 lbs already, but gaining weight isnt nearly as important to me as getting stronger. I play college football, and what i was looking for out of this cylce was to get stronger on my bench and squat. Like i said i have gotten some slight strength gains, but not quite what i was expecting. How much stronger did any of you guys get on your first cycle?

I reckon your probably benching over 315lbs so in that case the 400mgs a week of test isnt enough. There is only so big and strong the body will get on 400mgs a week before the dosage needs to be increased. Youre clearly so big and strong already that 400 wont do much for you.
My advice is to to do 750 mgs a week. I did 500 a week for my first cycle (finished it 10 days ago) and boy if I knew then what I know now I would have done 750mgs. 400mgs is a low dose IMO. Your a beast..........400 aint enough!

next time try a gear tailored specifically for strength. 15lbs is good tho, especially for a test only cycle, but youre bench should have gone up more than 10lbs, if you were dosed right.

Alot of people recommend test only for your first cycle, i don;t know why that is. Mate throw 40mgs a day of dbol in there for the first 5 weeks next time round and watch yourself explode.

Dont feel too bad bro. Im ending week 6 of four times the amount of test your running, and havent had the dramatic gains yet. Some bodies are different, and mine is one of them also. My first cycle of 500/wk test took me 7 weeks to feel anything. Dont lose hope though. It will come...

strengths are good on test but not great. if you want great take tren /test. you will be lifting more by the end of your cycle. i even though you feel a little bit of a difference right off the bat, you strength and gains won't com till 4-6 weeks later. up the dose and maybe extend to 12 weeks.
