Rubbish, dorian yates was Mr olymia training 4 days a weeK for a total of about 45mins a session, but i guess he was just wasting his time LOL.

Whats more important is what you do in the gym when you are there, not the amount of training days are the duration of work.

If you train 3 days a week with a very high intensity and moderate volume it will be more than enough, and for some individuals even beneficial.

Bullshit. 3-4 days per week is ideal for most people. You can overtrain even on juice.

I guess we are all just wasting our time here..

I personally do 5 but I know of tons of bros that workout 3-4 days a week with great results..

Great point. It isn't as much about the amount of time you are in there as the amount of effective time that you are in there.

Now, when I am on juice, my recovery is faster and I will up my sets and reps on certain things.

ive trained 4 days per week, 3 days per week, 6 days etc, but right now training at 5 days a week. i figure whilst on cycle i can get away with it even more, but even when off, this training schedule has worked wonders for me

For me less is more, more about lifting heavy and hard, and more rest than I ever thought was needed. I workout 4 days per week. If my schedule allows, every once in a while I will do a 5th day.

I love the gym. I love the scenery in the gym. I love the "pump" from lifting in the gym. The gym is a place to burn off steam. I get that so called "Good feeling" when i get in the gym. I personally love training 5 days a week and when i dont get in on the 5th day, i feel like i am slacking. I would do 1 body part per week for 5 days. for instance

    day 1: arms
    day2: shoulders
    day3: legs
    day4: back
    day5: chest

or something of the like. I do legs on fridays but am switching to this schedule this week. I have had WONDERFUL results switching to more intense one body part training. but yes, 3 days is enough.

Even though i am in the gym 5 days a week, this statement is very correct. Less IS more. You grow when you rest, not when you workout.

I like to switch it up often... i'll go 2 or 3 weeks training 5 days a week then switch to training eod for a couple weeks.... the key for me is listening to my body... I can usually tell if I need to take more time off between workouts, or sometimes I am just in that zone where 5 days a week is perfect and the gains are coming quick....

I feel your fire, bro... nothing like it. My gym...completes me.

3-5 days for me...lately 3 or 4 due to time. i'm pretty nuts about getting in though.. if its been a couple of days, I'll disappear from work for an hour just to fit in a crazy intense session. i've seen people get jacked off three days in the gym.
