2nd injection... instant pain/blood?

just done my second injection, did it in my left quad, did everything same as last time, except was right quad last time, though this time, a little blood came out of the injection spot which didnt happen last time, and ive got pain on and around the area instantly like a deep brusing pain, is this normal??

sounds like you probably hit a blood vessel, did you aspirate? and you probably moved the needle around to much inside you, that might of given you the deep pain. steady your hand completely still during the whole injection next time and tell us if you get the same pain.

yeah i did aspirate, thing is i have trouble keeping the needle still because the plunger is so stiff to pull up and push down :/

hold the bottom part as its in ur injection sie w/ 1 hand & push the plunger w/ thumb & index finger w/ the other hand. this will help steady the syringe.

Dude...I just did exactly the same thing on my fourth inject...you hit a vein...almost sure of it; the pin probably passed right through the vein...thus, your aspiration had no blood. I did my inject yesterday and today I have some tenderness and bruising on my leg...left leg actually. Oddly enough, my shots to my left leg are not as good as shots to my right so far...hmmm. Anyway, keep an eye on it. It should clear up in a couple of days...if it does not...go to the doc. You should be fine though...

maybe a small vessel or a cappillary. or you move alot. Is the plunger always stiff? and what guage?

yes it was stiff last time also (only second injection) i use 23g with 2.5cc syringe. funny thing this time when i aspirated though was when i liften the plunger as soon as i let go it shot down as if there was some sort of force sucking it down, why is that? (not down enough to push the oil in just up to the oil)

My plunger's are always stiff with a 23 gauge as well, but I just take it nice and slow and keep her steady.

Ive done quads a few times now.. just to change sites.. And everytime I do them, the pin ends up moving just a tiny tiny bit, and I get this torn muscle feeling that turns my body all numb...Even last time I was prepared for it, and said if it happens, oh well, but I still get that feeling everytime.. It is an uncomfortable feeling for me, so now I just stick with glutes mostly, and throw in delts for rotation....

I hit a damn vein while doing my injection on monday! That morning I was reading about how all these people hit their veins while injecting and I was like "what a bunch of idiots I have never hit a vein." Then what do ya know that afternoon bam. hit one. Didn't bleed to much but it was sore for a day or so.

Its not hard to see when your injecting at the top of the glute. Im right handed, and when I shoot my right glute, its about 3 or 4 fingers down from my waist line. just kinda behind my hip.. Its not at the back by my crack or anything. I find them the easiest shoot....

ya glutes are very easy to do!!! its not very often you will do a shot and not have a bit of blood come out or atleast for me ..lol just make sure you asperate !!!

havent done quads yet .. i dont think im ganna need to anytime soon , not doin more then 3 shots a week .. so i juss stick with delts and glutes

the pain has got really bad now, walking is painful, even bending my leg to sit down is almost unbearable, is this because i moved the needle round too much or is it possible its a deeper reason?

if you hit a vain, it will be sore somtimes very sore. its happend to me before. it hert to walk for about four days. just make sure it doesn't start to swell or turn colors.

sounds like you didnt aspirate, so that would be why, or like someone said moving around the needle too much.

I shot my right quad yesterday with 1.5 cc's and the same thing happened to me. It felt sore and bruised right away and some blood did come out. It feels alot better today though. If you apirated and didn't pull any blood, you didn't shoot into a vein. You would know it if you did.

i had to go to a&e at the hospital today to the pain was too much to bare, the doctor said it would either be a small infection or internal bleeding from moving the needle around and has given me antibiotics and pain killers, he said i will know in a couple days because if it is internal bleeding it will bruise up.

thought id also mention that he also claimed that steroids had 0 effect on muscle growth and tried telling me that all gains were just water so they were not ever real gains from steroids *cough* i just said ok mate.

just to let you guys know i had no outer brusing so im assuming it was an infection which doesnt seem right to me as i kept very sanitary with swobs and even changed the needle over :/
