During my last injection i injected what i believe was a very small particle of rubber into my quad. I just wanted to know what should I expect. And will it definately turn into a infection.
Thanks for any help I am kind of worried

If you know you injected it why did you do it if you could see it in there. There is no way of knowing if you will get an infection but if it gets red and sore in the next few days I would get my arse to a DR ASAP and tell him the truth.
what guage and length was the pin you injected with? hopefully puss will form and push it to the skin where you can pop it like a a zit! hahaha if not it shouldn't hurt if it is healed over. i know i've had gravel so deep it would not come out...keep us posted
yeah man if u wiped the top of the vial with alcohol swab u shud b ok but keep at eye on it! i have a full pencil lead stuck in my leg from 8 years ago, never caused a problem tho!
just keep ur eye on it!
I also have pencil lead stuck in my foot from about 15 years ago. Never caused a problem.
I have a .40 caliber slug in my brain stem - no problems. jk.
I once ate a whole banana in my cereal and no ill effects![]()
Oh wait that was not the questions was it??? sorry..
umm... How do you know you shot a piece of rubber into your leg?

Seems odd unless you're using a serious gage like 18's to shoot with??

no but seriously..how do you get pencil lead stuck in you? ive never heard of that
but on the topic of this thread...ask a doctor about it and be honest with the situation..they would know best because everyone can react differently to something foreign in their body..if oldman can eat a whole banana and maxima5 can have a slug from a .40 cal in his brain then you might be fine..but better safe than sorry
Yeah, as indicated in the examples above the body can deal well with foreign particles. I have a piece of Dorito lodged in my upper pallet. No problems though. Unless you count my subsequent loss of equilibrium, but I learned to compensate. Oh and then there's my sudden uncontrollable spurting of profanities that ocurred two days later, people who know me hardly notice it anymore. And lastly my inability to feel anything in my right foot. But all in all, I'm fine.

It was a 23 gauge that I used and it was a very small piece of rubber. I injected about 3:00 on monday and have had no problems so far. Its been about 52 hours. I will keep posting if problems arrive

dorito?? ok...
Thats gotta be a very small
peice of rubber to draw through
a 23 g., I curious why shoot also..
Maybe it was a D-bol flavored Dorito

I'll tell ya though, you gotta have damn good eye sight to see a piece of rubber that a 23g pin could draw up. Go Figure!
I'm calling total BS on this entire thread.![]()
It's possible. If he had a piece of rubber floating in one of his vials and after he injected he noticed that the rubber wasn't in the vial anymore.![]()
If i was aware there was a piece of rubber floating in the vial, I would have gone out of my way to avoid sucking it into the pin. But that's just me.
wow....
Even in the vial..how did it
draw up through the pin.
I think it would clog up..
Must be pretty small.
It takes forever to draw gear through a 23 G, let alone a solid mass.
Is it possible you convinced yourself it was possible, but changed your mind now that everything seems fine?

Seriously there is just no way that he sucked up a piece of rubber througha 23 gauge and then injected it back out.
I don't buy it. This thread is a waste of time. =(
if he did inject, it dhould be sterile so over time the body will push it up and out. usually. My friend ( a Vietnam vet) had a piece of shrappnel push out about a month ago. Sometimes it takes a long time.
