I have never had a problem with steroid rage.

The media has always focussed on this to try and put bodybuilding in the dark - but in my opinion it is a myth. What I do believe is that, when someone is on gear, they do have more confidence and feel on top of the rest - which might in certain situations lead to that person behaving different to his norm. It is therefore a whole mental thing which is controllable.

One can decide to be a prick or not in any given situation - there is no need to put the blame on gear!!

Agree 100%. I remember reading a lot of stuff about "roid rage " before I started steroid usage. Now I never read about it because the whole thing is a fraud.

If you've got Person A who is generally violence prone (or known for being ill temepered), the juice may make him slightly more susceptible than he already is.

If you've got Person B who is an even tempered guy, the juice won't make any difference (even in fairly high amounts). I am not an experienced user although I never felt any kind of "rage" on my previous cycles or this one (even when I was on D-Bol).

The media is filled with ignoramuses who write stuff for the lowest common denomnator. For them, anything that portrays Steroids as generally bad is a good thing - from stories about roid rage to Hitler pumping his soldiers with juice.

I've read that tren at 200mg (ED) and up gives you a hard time controlling your temper..........
but with lower dosages, there seem to be not an issue with agression.

I guess is you over dose, it can become a problem.

lol some times you have to put people in there place i believe its a myth too if you use gear right your blood levels will be stable other wise they may not be if you use gear the wrong way which could lead to alot of different things including sides and emotional imbalance

I don't think that it is necceassrily a myth, but I do believe that it is highly controllable. Certain compounds tend to cause you to get IRRITATED more easily. Such as anadrol , tren , and "the king" halotestin . You just need to know this in advance and keep yourself in check. You can just find that your tolerance for some things just isn't quite the same. It is not hard to control though if it is something that you want to control.

I have noticed that juice can create heightened emotions in whatever the emotion might be at the time. When I would normally feel good in the gym, now I feel great. When I feel slightly confident, now I feel like I can take on the world. And yes, of course, when I hear a love song on the radio that seems real nice, now it may make me almost break down and cry.

Keep it all in check and you will be fine. The choice is yours.

I've got roid rage now and I am pissed. I am mad I am not cutting fat quick enough so I can jump on my test/deca cycle. I just stare at the vials and know I can't use them yet and it pisses me off something fierce.

Testosterone is KNOWN to increase aggresiveness by design. So those that keep saying "is a myth" are either in denial or terribly missinformed. The key is to keep aggresiveness from turning into rage. Self control is one way. There are also drugs like Prozac, Welbutrin and Zoloft.

I think the myth perpetuated about roid rage is that it results in "uncontrollable outbursts", whereas the consensus seems to be that though emotions are heightened, the control can be there, it's up to the individual

true. People are naturally intimidated by people who are physically bigger and dedicated to their sport. These same people who coined the phrase "roid rage " are the same people who assume everyone in the gym who is in better shape is on gear.

Hell yea. People say I am on gear all the time. I go to a college gym and people ask me all the time what I am taking. I say protein and they always say what else. I am natural and less motivated people can't believe what dedication can do. It pisses me off sometimes. I am now in the process of cutting which will make me look bigger even though I will be smaller. I have had a problem in the past with alcohol hindering me so to cut this time I stopped going out all together for the past month and a half. I am working my ass off and sacrificing my fun time to accomplish my goal. It is the only way I can. It is hard but will be worth it. I have friends who are 'cutting' also but drink eat shitty etc and if one of them makes a comment about me negatively because they didn't have the dicipline I am going to punch their nose through their heads. Sorry for the rant. I am pissed.

    AGREED

You only have to look at teenagers or women who are PMSing to see that raging hormone levels can make for very unstable emotions.

YES it is highly exagerated by the media.

NO it is not a "myth".

Its all in the head, if you feel more agressive channel the anger into your workouts, its all about control and will power.

i completely agree!and i also agree with marcus its all about control
and channelling.having said that a few years ago my brother had a friend who had just started gear i spoke to him on many occasions before hand he was very timid and had zero confidence with the ladys, a few months later i heard he had picked a couple of fights smacked one his best mates who had tried to stop him from beating the shite out of somebody and thrown a trolley through a shop window.the next time i saw him he was in spain by himself hitting on girls in a bar,a total transformation from when i first met him,was it the gear? you decide for yourself!

Word up on that M. IMO, if you can't control your emotions/aggression before you start taking AAS then you have no right to be juicing if it's causing or has caused aggression fits. The reason is because too many people can easily flip out on someone, whoop some ass, then blame it on the AAS for their rage fits? Come on take ownership for what you do and man up. Just my .02.

Oh and one more thing, I swear there has to be enough threads started about "roid rage " that we could have our own forum for roid rage and discuss the pros and cons Or whoever has a question about roid rage should use their SEARCH button. before starting a new thread that has been answered many times over.

Its mostly in your head...but i do think that if you get pushed to the point where you would normally loose your rag - you will still loose it - only probably go a little further or be a little MORE aggressive or angryer than normal...just from my experiances - but no it does not turn people from nice guys into nutters over night, if thats how they want people to see them they do it thereselfs and use steroids as an excuse...

Never run tren though but i think there may be some issues with rage using that from what iv heard

Roid rage works kind of like this. If you're an asshole (or deep down inside you're an asshole as well), when you're on juice, you will be even more of an asshole!
