my application to a major firedeparment in georgia has been accepted. long story short- i did a deca cycle seven months ago, and now im freaked out because i dont know if the drug test they administer screens for roids or not, and if so, what are the possibilities of it still being detectable? thanx guys.

you should be okay.....I have a couple buddies who work in the FDAL....they run the juice, deca being one of the compounds cycled, and they do not get tested....steroid tests are too expensive for them to use.....the worst test they will give would be a 7-Drug Panel which covers all drugs that are mind-altering cocaine, marijuana, opiates, sedatives, stimulants and depressants...hope that helps....

I know deca stays in your system for quite some time. I'm not a firefighter, but I do work in law enforcement, and we don't test for roids. I think you'll be alright. They're trying to filter out the potheads, and junkies.

Our department gives a polygraph prior to hiring. But no steroid test.

i have never heard of any FD ever testing for AAS. Your cycle was 7 months ago and you just turned your application. It will be atleast 4-6 months minimum unitl you get an employment physical. They need to collect all the apps., do a written test, a physical agility, and a couple of interviews still. Dont worry about it.

They are not testing for anabolics. They are testing for narcotic use and renal function.
