25g 1" is good for Test E anywhere but glutes. 23ga 1.5" is good for glutes.

Thats not correct at all. Some compounds are thicker than others.

Yes some oil based can be thicker than water based of course. But I would say as long as you're not using Slin pins than it wont matter too much. stick between 22 and 25g, see how you deal with site pain and go from there.

Also, bostedtalon. My only advice is to try not to go below 22g if possible. I have used 19g before (in a dire situation) and I dont flinch much at pain, but let me tell you it felt like i was putting a screwdriver into my leg. Although it was heaven to withdraw from the vial with. lol. Good luck man.
