    Newbie needs help

    Hey, I did the wrong thing and went against peoples adivise to not start steroids until I had trained a lot more. I'm 20 170lbs and around 17% b/f. I started usuing deca alone at 200 mg/week then after about 7 weeks started doing 300 and I now do 400 and got about 3 weeks left. I thought this would help kickstart my gains but I've seen minimal progress through it. I've gained 10lbs but its been over like a 4 month period of time, and its been about a month and I havent gained a pound. I go to the gym 4 times a week and work out for about an hour to an hour and a half. I eat 170g of protein a day. What am I doing wrong??

    should of done more research deca alone is a waste of product and money shud of thrown sum test in the mix

    For starters....deca alone dude? No good! It's always recommended to do Test on a first cycle, and then, depending on your goals, you can add more gear...but never deca alone man.

    also deca should be run for a 10 week course minimum

    well from what ive gathered on the little info that you have given us...you have not got a good base of muscle if you have not trained for long.........and 170g protein per day try doubling that and obv up your carbs and good fats..........................
    deca only i would not advise..................

    you gotta read up more here on these forums. go to the profiles forums for aas and you'll learn a lot. you didn't listen to peoples advice, and now you got burned. don't just listen to what you want to hear, listen to all advice given and actually take all sides into consideration unless you like wasting money. people may let you not listening to them slide once, but if you keep ignoring the advice, pretty soon no one will be giving you any cause they'll know it's pointless.

    the reason people will tell you to take test with deca is because it's not a 1+1=2 kind of deal. the combo multiples each other because they compliment one another. each helps the other to be more effective.

    before even thinking about taking anymore gear, you need to decrease your bf%. a high bf% while taking gear will give test more availability to aromatize, because aromatization happens in your bf. if you don't know what aromatization is, do a search on these forums and you'll learn. work on your diet, increase your cardio, and get your bf% down to at least 14% before even considering anymore gear. personally, i'd advise going down into the one-digit percentages before starting, but you seem to not be concerned about getting cut, so that's your call.

    Thanks for the info. I have done a lot of research now in the past couple months and I realize that i shouldnt have started with deca alone. But once I stop, should I do a cycle of test, or just hold off all together until I gain more natural muslce. Also I was wondering if doing too much cardio would burn up my carbs and fats that I need to gain muscle?

    no you need to do PCT...do you know what that is? If not, you best learn what it is pretty quick..deca alone is a bad idea too, but if youre not gaining weight its b/c youre not eating enough..period!!

    first- yes deca alone is bad BUT you should of gained more than that
    2nd- the lack of gains most likely came from your diet.. first 170 grams of protein is not that much..
    3rd- stick around here- read, ask q's and then divulge into the aas world.. good luck

    I know what pct is as I said I've done a lot of research in the past month. Could someone give me an example of their diet. I dont know how I can get more than my body weight in protein. I struggle with eating 170!
