Butt Cheek Swollen And Painful!!!

I'm on my 7th week of test cyp and haven't had any pain before but my last shot is killing me. My left cheek is swollen and I can barely sit on it. Has this happened to anybody else? I really want to know whats going on any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the reality of injecting AAS. There are some thing you can do to help...but this is certainly NOT unusual.

but we are talking swooollen and I can barely lift my leg. How do you tell if its infected?

Itll be really warm to the touch. Probably very red. How long has it been swollen and sore?

For about 5 days but the first couple days i didn't even feel it. Its only been the last few that it has swelled up and hurt.

If it is red, hot, swollen then it could be an infection. Did you clean the site before the injection? Did you use a new needle? Did you clean the top of the bottle? Have you been rotating the injection sites? What size need did you use, maybe didnt go deep enough?

give it another 3 days man.. that is if it doesnt get worse i have had the same thing happen lots of times. Its extremely painful and makes you almost imobile for a week or so. Everytime u sit down you think theres a baseball on your chair and it takes you 45 seconds to stand up. Not unusual. Thats why im a delt and pec kinda guy, get a bad injection you can still move around.

man my arms get hot an swollen almost every time I hit them oh and hurt like hell they always gotten better. the very first time i hit my delt I got lumps in both arms hot, red, lumps, hurt went away after about 4-6 days dont remember. I thought i had an infection but i didnt.

Thats probably a staff infection. I had one in both shoulders and it totally sucks. It gets red and hard and is very sore to move. Go to the Dr. and he will prescribe some antibiotics, it will go away in like a week or two.

A staff infection? Man that does sound like it hurts. I would never inject anything into my staff that would possibly infect it.....even if they promised a 12 incher!

As for a staph infection...AB is the only treatment and yes not something thats very fun either.
