I was reading on some post that you should not shake HCG while mixing it with Bac water. I have some made up and I did shake it while mixing it. Does this damage the HCG? Or is it still ok??

Been trying to find the answer on this for awhile. Lots of mixed veiws on this . Some say shake and be very careful and some say it does not matter. Does anyone know what would happen if you did shake it. Lose potency ? Will it ruin the HCG if it is shaken? Any studies that prove why it should not be shaken?

i've always heard that it is fragile when mixed and shaking it will make it lose its potency but thats just all i've heard

I always swirl it rather than shake it. Also when transferring HCG into a vial, I aim the spray along the inside wall.

I was wondering if there are any studies that show why shaking HCG while mixing it is not good? I called my compounding pharmacy and got a hold of the pharmasist that acually does the compounding and he said it is ok to shake it while mixing it. I am not sure what is correct because there are so many diffrent views on this one. Any studies to back it? To shake or not to shake HCG?

IMO with the dilutent that is provided about a week, with BW about a month or so. Bacteria can start to grow with the water that is provided.
