    First Test c injection question

I injected 250mg test c in my glute Saturday. It's Monday and oh the pain. Can barely walk, stand, bend...My next injection will be in the other cheek, but my question is - when I inject back into the cheek that is sore right now, will I feel pain when I'm penetrating with the needle? When I initially injected, I barely felt the needle go in...what about injecting into a sore bum?

if it's still sore inject somewhere else. try injecting really slow and don't move the needle around inside of you. i've injected up to 3cc's before and what really seems to make a huge difference is when i inject very very slow.

alright, I didn't go into the whole story. I'm sure my technique had a lot to do with what I am experiencing right now. It was my first injection so I was nervous as hell. F*** that 22 gauge needle looked like a shotgun to me. So I was a little shaky (when trying to depress the plunger). I'm sure I did more tissue damage than an experienced injector.

If I hit the quad, do I use the entire 1.5" needle, or is it less shallow of an injection?

You use 1" in the quad. Look at this web site it will show you what to do. Take out the spaces

cool. I'll check it out. Right now I just got 22 gauge 1.5" needles. Could I still use those and just inject 1" ?

fuc a 22g, that needle is to big IMO. To be honest, I have done a gazillion injections and I have used a 1" 25g for all sites, with no problem.

I dont do glute injections anymore because there to hard to reach. My wife would have to do those.

When i first started I used 22g, but after I started hearing the pin rip through my flesh and create more scar tissue then needed, I switched to 25g.

It take a bit longer to inject if you dont heat up the oil, but leaves less scar tissue IMO.

gotcha...I'll have to get some higher gauged needles. I would have preferred that but everywhere I read said 22.

Use the 22 to draw out and then change to 25 to inject.
