Take gear to high altuide?
This may be a stupid question. I have been injecting sust EOD and I need to go to Lake Tahoe this weekend. I will need to inject while I知 there. I will be going from sea level to over 7500 feet and I would rather not take the chance of wasting any gear. Should I preload a pin and just leave some air in it or should I bring the vial up with me and load the pin there? If I bring the vial up with me should I use a pin to remove some of the air before I go up to compensate for the change in altuide? Thanks for your help.

i'd preload a pin before you go up with however much you plan to take while you're there. as far as putting air in it like you asked, why do that? just load the pin up with however much sust you need and you're good to go.
let us know if it changes at all. i'm curious if that really will affect the level it changes to in the pin noticeably or not.

The weak link I'm guessing would be the glass vial because the rubber is flexible, nonetheless, there is ''NO'' chance of the glass exploding 7500'asl is nothing in psig.

i LIVE AT 8500 FEET AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH GLASS VIALS. PLASTIC SURE MAKES A MESS. LIKE A SHAMPOO BOTTLE OR SIMILAR TYPE CONTAINER. WE LOOSEN THE LIDS ON OUR MILK AND SHAMPOO AND OTHER SIMILAR BOTTLES BEFORE WE DRIVE UP THE HILL. PUT YOUR SHAMPOO AND SIMILAR BOTTLES IN ZIPLOCKS IT WILL SAVE A MESS IN YOUR SUITCASE. WE HAVE TO SHOP AT 4000 FEET, IF YOU ARE WORRIED JUST HAVE IT HANDY AND STICK A NEEDLE IN IT A TIME OR TWO AS YOU DRIVE UP THE HILL AND RELEASE THE PRESSURE. I DO NOTHING TO MY VIALS.......

As promised here is the update from this weekend. I left a little air in the syringe and had no problems at all with any leaking out. I was real careful to load exactly .8cc at sea level and it looked to be a little more then .8cc at 7000 feet. I was using a 3cc syringe so I was unable to tell exactly how much volume was added.
On a side note my Lion L-Dex did leak a little but it was not big deal because I had it in a zip lock bag. I’m guessing it was just the pressure effecting the L-Dex that was in the pump.
