Infection Question

Hey I did some research but didnt find any answers to this question...

A few of the places I injected on my quads are a little pink .. but not even the size of a zit.. just right around the hole itself.. is that just it healing? or a sign of infection.. left quad a little sore but thats usual.. not swelling.. and not warm.. i switched to my delts and glutes just to give my quads a break.. but just curious if this should be a worry.. thanks all

Sounds like normal irritation to me. Just keep an eye on it so it doesn't get worse.

i get them once in a while with quad shots doctor said maybe clipped a spider vein or something no biggie

If someone does have a problem with gear, can they go to the Doc. without any fear of getting locked up?

how big of a circle around the injection site .. should i be worried this.. looks like a zit.. but not boiled up or anything just flat on the surface.. just a little pink.. but my quad hurts

no doctors in the USA cannot do anything but suggest the health risks and give you some knowledge due to hippa laws and do/patient confidentiality he can lose he job for even tell the desk clerk there its NOONEs business

well what are you injecting? soreness is natural IM injections are usually a little i dont wanna say painful but sometime uncomfortable you are fine, but keep an eye for puffy redness, hot to touch and if you have a fever other than that you should be fine bud just relax

I've been injecting 1.5 cc of test and 1 cc of tren every 2 days or so.. been using the quads the majority of the time.. just started alternating to other sites.. maybe alot of scar tissue.. no puffiness.. just little redness around old sites.. but i mean like a dot.. im thinking maybe the nair i used caused some irritation to the sites.. thanks for the input

thanks man.. what signs do i look for .... if it worsens? just like the pinkish area spreading?

real sore to the touch, hot to touch, you will possibly have a fever... any of those signs go see a doc nothing he can fix real quick and tell him the truth.

what about it being discolored.. want one of the main signs be pinkish color? would that be spreading? infectiong wouldnt it be more than just pimple size?

also it doesnt really hurt right at the injectiong site.. but more upper from it.. any clue why the hell it hurts.. i feel the soreness when i walk.. any idea guys?

Anytime your body experiences something new there is a reaction. It sounds to me like this is just irritation but if the problem worstens go see a doc.

Keep me updated on your symptoms. I dont want to run into the same problem and not know what it is.

hey bro just to let you know my quad is just a little swollen, a little flushed.. and all injection sites on it are disappearing.. no knots or anything.. so im guessing its just a little swollen from like scar tissue or just a little fluid built up.. but nothing big.. but I would like someone that knows to inform me every symptom of an infection.. as in the discoloring.. and how much and what colors.. thanks for any input

I see a sports DR(not my family Doc!) every now and then. He'll give me a cortisone shot, if I request, or run my blood. He knows what Im doing and wants to make sure I live through it.

I went to him 2 weeks ago because I was having a BAD reaction to a shot in my left quad(I compete tomorrow!). I could not even flex my left quad. It looked like my outer quad had disappeared. He said it was indeed an infection. He gave me 2 penicillin shots and keflex at 3000 mg per day. It took a week for it to clear up. Just in time for me to win the overall tomorrow!

See if there is anyone into sports medicene in your area. I know my family Doc doesnt even like me taking protein. These guys are used to working with guys who juice in a variey of sports.

cgb6810, should you get blood test taken every cycle? I thought when you got an infection that (for the most part) it meant they would have to remove that part of the muscle?
