    problem with first glute injection

I wrote earlier that my first test c injection in the glute came at a price. The following two days was enough pain that it was difficult to sit and walk.
Well right now it not only is sore with pain, but also has developed into something else...difficult to explain...sort of a raised area around the injection site, like inflammation. It's harder to the touch compared to the rest of the cheek and painful when I touch it. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Should I apply heat? Just taking Advil right now.

Also yesterday I injected the other cheek with no problem (better technique than the first). Just worried about the 'lump' of some sort...

I once had that same problem with my left glute. It just went away after a week. I didn't notice any discoloration which was a plus. Continue popping advils for about a week. You should be fine only worry about it if lump remains and discoloration occurs.

cool. Actually there's no discoloration. It almost feels like muscle but it's painful...strange

oh...and when I used the word 'lump', that might not be the best description because it's as big as my hand. Just like a large raised mass. It's been 4 days now.

Chances are you jabbed yourself awkardly and you bruized some tissue and it has swelled up.

If it doesn't subside in a couple more days then you may want to consider a doctor to see if it's an infection but I'm guessing you just bruized yourself pretty good and it'll go away.

Kind of like hitting your head and getting a lump, only you probably wiggled the needle too much on the way in or out.

You'll get better at it, I used to be really sore after jabs and now it's like I never even jabbed myself after injections.

    wiggle..no no...more like violent shaking
Didn't realize the awkwardness of shotting back there and had a tough time depresssing the plunger. I'm certain there was tissue damage. I'm pretty sure it was that because the second injection...no problem at all. No shaking. No pain. Nothing. I hope it will go away though. I used aseptic technique so hopefully no infection, but can't rule that out.

    it's been 4 days

    day 1 : injection
day 2 : pain at sight of injection (needle pain)
day 3 : noticed area around injection site was slightly hard compared to rest of glute and raised
day 4 : Somewhat the same. The area is a little more raised. Feels like a large mass of muscle. Something like that.

i imo would put it down to being a virgin muscle to injections mate....massage the area thouroughly and give it another few days.....you should be ok...if it is still the same or worse in a few days let us know....

thanks...just a side note - a heating pad helps dull the pain. Hope this is ok to use and won't make it worst. Let ya'll know what happens.

heat pads are no problem mate they will help....just keep an eye on it but i am quite sure its just where the muscle is not used to the intrusion...

I had a lump the size of almost a baseball on my ass the first time I injected.......WITHOUT APPLYING HEAT AFTER. I sware that if you apply as much heat as you can stand AFTER YOU INJECT, it will lessen if not eliminate all the pain. Take a shower and massage it for like 10 minutes. try it and you tell me. Not sure how much it will do after you already have a knot and all but, try it next time.

might have hit in between two muscles or right under the fascia. In that case it will be there for a week or two, and let you know it's there. But it will absorb and you will get over it.

Drawing with one needle and injecting with a new works well for me. Goes in like butter. A dull needle can make you bruise a little. Dont know if thats your problem, but every little bit helps

I wonder if....the one thing I did fail to do is wipe the top of the 10ml vial off with alch. ??
I'm going on my third day, the second day is when is when it got bad and I sat on a heating pad. I'm not really worried unless it starts turning green or growing to the size of a bowling ball.

my ass hurts like **** too..Im on my first cycle ever, taking ethenate, 1cc 2 times a week, and it is killing me When Im working out The most pain is in my ass sitting on the bench then then set! so I guess this is what happens the first time? I started rubbing it out and I think its working, but is ethanate more prone to do this say over sustonon? Ive researched that eth is a slower acting test....would this have anything to do with it?
