    Exclamation Scam

Here is some info I use to prevent me from getting scammed from websites selling AS:

I have a good tip for people who want to use a .com site. Most of these sites sell a particular UG lab that has their own website.

    1) Go to their website (the UG website)
    2) Type in the .com website in question (there is a link to this on the left side of the home page)
    3) The UG lab website will tell you if that .com website is a direct buyer.
This is not fool proof, but is a good indication that the website in question is doing good business. I have used this method and have 100% success rate, and no scams.
The only problem is that the .coms are usually pricey.

yea I know, thats how I basically learned it, but there has been a few post concerning scaming latey, so I felt it would be beneficial to the newbies. They are much more likely to read this new thread, then an old one.

For newbies that want to buy from a .com. While that method might work for that guy and some others...it is NOT 100% (like he mentioned). I did the same thing. One success story and one scam. So it doesn't always work. It might be a first step, but my advice...if it comes up as a direct supplier, next ask a mod or vet to see if they heard of them. If they don't know then make a small order to see if it's legit. Don't go balls out and buy big. Also another scam is that if you make an initial small order, they send it to establish trust in you. Then next you will make a big purchase...and guess what, they keep your money - you've been scammed. It's a risky game with .com and AS.

yea, they should always pm a mod/vet before they put an order in. Thats the next line of defence, and the best one too, imo.

Yes, they should, but we all know they wont. So I hope this little thread helps some newbies who order recklessly, not put more money in the hands of these scamers.
There are a few good .com sites that do great domestic sales with in the states, that have good reps on this board.

yea as i said, not 100% fool proof, but if you cross reference with a mod, your chances are lower.
