    blood test results

    Got some results.

I'm 28, 5'11, 170 lbs. 10% bf. I feel lethargic and tired qutie a lot of the time. Many ppl have commented int he past 5 eyars that I look tired and drawn....which I feel soemtimes, and sometimes not. I struggle to put on weight, might be diet?

    fsh - 1.7
    lh 5.2
    progesterone 2.5
    shbg 34.9
    total test 16.83 (???)
    free test 340.2 (???)

    Ranges:

    estradiol 95.5 range: 44-207
    fsh - 1.7 range: 1.2 15.8
    lh 5.2 range: 1.3-9.6
    progesterone 2.5 range: 0.7- 4.7
    shbg 34.9 range: 11.4 52.3
    total test 16.83 range: 7.3 - 27
    free test 340.2 range: 181 - 536

Some ppl say my TT is a bit low. They say should be around 22-23 for active person my age. Also fsh is very borderline. I am concerned about fsh being that low...as the ranges given for these tests are usually overly generous.

My aas history is 5 x 2 weekers with prop and tren, with about 10 days pct after each with clomid nolva. Used to take about 6 weeks off after each 2 weeker. I felt greta after 2 weekers, no crash. I have veeb feeling this way on and off for 5 years tho, so don't think it's the aas.

My libido is not what it should be, but might be mental. Not really itnerested in sex, altho dating a beautiful woman. THis is really shitty...and I'm nott really sure whether it's in my mind or body?

Last thign I did with aas was abotu 2 months ago...did dbol only 20-30mg a day....which didnt agree with me...so I stopped after one week. I didn't do pct.

I'm thinking of doing a big pct with clomid nolva hcg, to kick everything into shape. Opinions?

Possible Anemia.....What is you RBC and HC Level? Your Lymphocytes/WBC may be of interest to and point to something more serious.

Did you take a blood test before your cycle, so you can compare the two?
I wouldn't do another PCT... Give it time... .... Stay off the gear... I would wait a few months and get another blood test.

It took me almost a year to fully recover...

cyclist...I'll check it out..will report back.

Are u saying that cos of lethargy?

I once had rbc (I think?) test done about 6 years ago...I was cyclign then. My rbc came up to somethin stupid like 38-39 or something...I was very disaapointed, as I was training as endurance cyclist...I now do track. My endurance is shocking tho.

    Think it could be that?

I didnt take a blood test before gear...but then again...I feel the same as before! My sex drive since 5 years hasn't been up to scratch, although I believe a mental sex issue may come into play for me.

I personally doubt its anemia in this case.. cyclist: why do u think its anemia? I mean it is possible but IMO its not the most probable at all... I would like to hear what ppl have to say about the low FSH.... You test and LH are pretty decent... they shouldnt explain fully what u are feeling.

I guess TT is fine. Also this was taken at 4 in the afternoon (altho its round about another testosterone spike)...whereas normally the test should be taken between 6 and 9 in the morning (when your test spikes naturally)
I know lh regulates test production...I suspect fsh as well. I know it is involved in sperm maturation.

It might be in range...but the ranges are very wide...leg someone on TT of 10 will feel shitty, even thouhg it's above 7.3 ...

Could be anaemia, cos my rbc coutns wer elow at soe stage. My endurance is also naturally very bad.

FSH to my knowledge doesnt have that much to do with test production.... but it doesnt mean it couldnt affect it in anyway... I personally felt fine when I got my test levels checked.. they were like 6.7 when the referance range was 10-50. So low test doesnt necessarily also mean lethargy etc.... these are pretty complex things in the end.. not as straight forward as many believe..

Actually anemia is more prevalent than you think. In fact a HC level of 38 or 39 is considered anemic and that is what he had been tested at previously! A normal HC level is b/w 42-54% (Adult Male). HC Level can be influenced by many factors, diet, smoking, altitude, and of course genetics.

Word of advice (stupidhippo) when giving possible diagnoses: Never rule out anything. This includes serious diseases noted by the presence of abnormally high WBC/Lymphocytes. These things can happen to ANYONE, even us "immortal" athletes.

ok I will have hct and rbc checked out again. It corresponds to some extent...feel lethargic and tired, and my endurance is absolutely shocking. IGoing to a urologist next week, see if we can sort that out.

i agree with u but I was thinking that its unlikely tha anemia is what causes his symptoms... everything is possible though...

No problem....I understand that you were giving what you thought would be highest probable diagnosis and this is good.

I am in medicine....since you're not my patient I won't try to diagnose you at all (especially since there's not that much information). However I would advise you that you may want to look into depression. I would suggest first a light drug to see if it helps over a couple weeks......such as Amitryptoline.....that can bring sex drive back in depressed patients (some didn't know they were depressed), I've seen it personally.....provided depression is the cause, which I think it may be here.
Try it and see if it makes a difference, weak drug so it won't have bad sides

    Hi,

6 months ago that def would have been the case. I have been struggling with ED for a long time now (about 6 years) which was initially brought on by what I thought was too much time spent in the saddle (cyclist). I stopped that...but things never were the saem again. Been for physical checks and scans etc...but it checke dout ok. I think i'm physically fine.

DUring this time my girlfriend left me...which left a rather large impression on me about women. It has taken me a long time to come to terms with what happened (ie feeling rejected because of ED), and I am still nto 100% ove rit, but I am with a very understanding woman as well right now (who also has some sexual issues - so less pressure for me).

I may give that a try. Altho in the long run I would only want to use it for a couple of weeks or months...and then off - don't really want to use it full time.

I am MUCH better now though than ever before...btu you are right...it may be an issue. I will check out all my bloods and then perhaps try what you suggested.

I'm 28 - I think at the time of the cycilng problem - my hormones "relaxed' as well - as they generally do somehwere in your low/mid 20's. I think this kinda freaked me out - as it occurred at the same time as my cycling problem? Who knows.
