Phentermine question

Ive done a search here but I cant quite say I got the info I was looking for.
Question: 1-
What is a "starter" dosage for Phentermine?
2- How long untill it "kicks in" {first dosage I think}
3- Is that a "controlled substance"

My stats are:
Im 35---6'4---275 and looking forward to drop about 20-30- lbs so I can FINALLY begin my first ever cycle of Test.
Please----any help you can offer is appreciated.

its a prescription medication
it is a amphetimine
its suprresses appetite and no fat loss
doses between 20 to 40 mg ed
add test to cycle and keep protein up
after about 2 weeks i found it stops working
itll hit you within 30 mins of initual dose feels like your on speed with the high taken out of it
