600 mg in how many ml of oil?
Is it red and hot to touch? If yes it can be an infection. If it is not an infection just massage it gently, and it will pass!
Don't use that spot until it will be absorbed.

First problem you have is injecting in the middle of your glute... you may just hit the syatic nerve and take a trip to the ER because you are paralized in that leg...

Upper outer glute. Look it up bro before you do something stupid. If the lump is not near injection site go to the doctor. It may need drained or it may need removed. Why chance it?

If you have a cyst in the area directly above your crack it is called a pilonidial (sp?) cyst. These are not caused by gear useage and there are a couple of treatments. 1. Go to your daoc or the er, if the cyst has not developed track below the surface, you can have it I&D or incised and drained. After this it should be packed with iodaform gauze. This allows for it to heal from the inside out. If it is just lanced, the surface tissue will close and the underlying area will fill back up with puss and you will have not accomplished anything. once it is packed, you will have to change this packing at least once every 2 days until it heals.
    2. If this has already becomed tracked and the puss has spread to other areas then this will require surgery. They must cut out all the encapsulated area and this will definatley require some healing time. I am in med shool and was a flight paramedic before this. Trust me when I say that this is not from gear useage. This happens in a large percentage of the population that do not use gear. Hope this helps. Guns

i dont know if this sheds any light on anything but i sometimes have probs shooting glutes cuz when i turn my back it will cramp up really hard if i've trained back recently and as a result i shot at such an angle where i had the whole pin submerged, yet still had a knot that wouldnt go away for a week after the shot. my hypothesis is that i shot at such a weird angle from the side that i was actually 1.5" deep yet still really close to the surface of the skin, therefore i believe that i barely got the tip of the needle in the glute muscle and then shot 2.5ml's of sheeit in there causing the bump cuz i wasnt deep enough in the muscle. i dont know if this was in fact the case or what. -Armwrestler22-
