    Time off after PCT

Not sure if this goes here or in the workout section but i figured it would get more views here. My question is when would it be ok to take a week off from the gym to let your body recover a little bit after PCT? Im afraid that if i take any time off i will lose my gains but then again i think you need to let your body recover and give it a little break after a cycle. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

i can say that its a good idea if u feel urself on a plateau.. i did this a week before i started my pct & it was the best thing for me.. but like HOSAM said, it is a personal issue that only u & ur body would know.

A week off from th gym wont do you any harm, if you have been training very intensely and your feeling alittle burnt out the week off will do you a world of good, rest and fully recover and get mentally prepared for the next cycle and training program.

I wouldn't arbitrarily select a week because of its calendar significance. Take as few or as many off as your body needs. You'll actually be surprised at your cosmetic changes, and as stated above by Bobby (speaking of plateau breaking) strength increase. And again don't be arbitrary, such a break need not only occur after cycling.

Good post. This is how I see it. Do it when its needed, I personally find that after I have been off for 2 months I need a week break, so I actually prefer taking a week off before I go into a cycle to just rest for a bit as opposed to taking a week off after cycle.

hmm...i never thought of that, i kind of like that idea, that way you are refreshed and ready to get back into it hard before the cycle

Precisely man. I mean sometimes I dont take any time off. It all depends but ya I find I come back stronger after a week off so going into a cycle with a nice rest and fresh mentality always helps me. Good luck bro.
