Having surgery, am I at risk on cycle ?

Currently 5 weeks into my cycle and doctor called me for surgery. a bone graft surgery in my left wrist on mid may..

    650mg test cyp week.

    30mg dbol/day 5 week.

Should I drop the cycle right now and start pct ?

What other risks should I be aware of having been on cycle so close to surgery?

    Thanks,

    djn

I wouldnt bother wasting more juice, you wont be able to train for a while and will probably lose everything you gained. Go straight to PCT now

I agree with Kale. Tell your doc as well, AAS reduce blood clotting time.

You need to drop the cycle, and maybe tell your doctor... depending how far apart, he wants you ,to do the surgery, he might not even do it, IF it's 3 weeks from now or so... i had to do minor surgery, on my mouth, a wile back, and the Dentist had a hard time stoping the blood (i never told him, i was on AAS, because it was minor surgery, but knowing what i know now, i would have told him, so he could prospone it for another month)... you say , you are having a wrist surgery, and that's not minor, so If you go into surgery, without telling your doctor, you might run into problems.
If you don't want to tell him, then don't, but stop the cycle right away, and prospone the surgery, for another month or so if you can ( say your sick , or have to leave the country or something/ emergency) that's only if you can propone it. that's just My opinion.

if you can't train, why be on cycle anyway? Doesn't make sense.

    SO of course go off.

Also, yes I can confirm there are bleeding issues, so go off NOW!

Yes AAS affect the clotting rate... you'd be at risk

I've heard from a doc (tho i've not had it confirmed) that AAS may also interfer with anesthesia

He told me a guy who had been on gear, but had not disclosed it, woke during a painful procedure.. just after they had put him down.

    Not cool

thats BS about the anesthsia, they asked me before i had gyno surgery and told me it would interfere with anesthesia..think about it,how could excess hormones effect that.they are just curious when they see someone larger then normal.

I would continue the cycle as it will aid in the healing process,im a firm believer that this helped me get back to the gym training 80-90% two weeks after my surgery.

btw...I was under the impression that AAS had the opposite effects on blood clotting..thats why the high blood pressure and risk of stroke and heart attack comes into play. one because you have more RBC then normal and two that its thicker.either way i didnt have any problems with bleeding,I had drains installed for 7 days and the blood was minimal.maybe that is just me.but stay on bro, you'll be glad you did.

The only AAS that I know of which interferes with BLOOD CLOTTING is Anavar. It increase the amount of time needed for blood clotting....thus a cut will take longer to clot and scab over. Most other AAS(s) do increase red blood cell production but not sure about it's affect on platelets, Platelets being the part of the blood that causes the clotting.

    but

My decision needs to be made soon and I know the bias advice i'll get if I consult a physican on this . I guess I need some solid facts on it seeing as how the information here goes both ways.

    hmm

Talk to your Doc. Let him know what you are doing. He has confidentiality and wether he agrees with you doing it or not, it could make the difference between him wanting to do surgery or wanting to wait. Either way, he can let you know and if he wants to wait, then finish your cycle if the surgery is NOT needed immediately.
Wether or not the anesthesia is BS, do you want your doc cutiing into you only to have complications he had no clue to expect?
You only get ONE life bro....talk to the doc. I told mine, and she was cool with it....gave me the usual "just be careful" speech but that was it.
    GOOD LUCK !
