just curious guys how often do you take like a week off from working out, or just have a week where you work out twice or so? Is this good? I know it gives your body a rest but just looking for some more opinions

I just took a weeks vacation. I usually workout Mon-Sat. I only lifted the first 3 days of vacation, then took 4 days and this weekend off. I'll let you know if the rest helped.

i usually train M,T, TH, FRI, and i take wed off and the weekends off
Time off is good. Muscles grow when not in use.
i go to the gym eod but somtimes i take 3 or 4 days off
someone who trains year round its good to take a week off at points. sometimes you need it. i usually only let that happen when i go away on vacation or like now being hurt.
I like to take one full week off the weights when I lift year round usually about every three months then I come back and change up my whole workouts to keep the muscles guessing. It also try to time it so it is during vacation time so I don't have to feel guilty!!
I train M W F and take the rest off and add a little cardio in there while "on". I find for me, that I have fantastic results with this. I train for about 45 minutes or an hour each session. I have managed to put on fantastic solid quality muscle this way.
I take a week off every 8 to 12 weeks.
