    Question Quick Question...

    Hey guys,

I started my first cycle this past Thursday and everything is going fine I guess. Well, except for one small thing. Before I tell you the problem, let me let you know what I am taking. I am on Test E @ 500mg wk for 12 weeks. Ok, for the problem, After I shot everything was normal. The next day my ass was a little sore at the injecting site. Later on that night my lower back started hurting. My lower make toward the bottom of my spine and the top of my ass. Its now a little sore and swollen and sore to the touch. My friend told me that this is common with Test E. It this something that I should be worried about or am I fine. Also, if this is common, will it continue every time I take a shot or is this just for the first time. Please any impute on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Its not normal for the area to be swollen and sore to touch. Well it sometimes could be sore but it seems that you're experiencing some pain. Keep an eye on it and see if it gets worse. This is your first shot of your first cycle so I'm sure you're nervous. Just keep an eye on it and if it gets more swollen or red post it. Could have an infection but I'm sure at this point its more psychological then anything else.

Did you clean the injection site?

my ass and legs sometimes killed after a shot of some QV TEST. u should check the puffy area and c if its warm and kind of .....well...mushy. if so u might have a prob but i would think it would take a little more time than u have allowed 2 become infected or abcess 2 show up. u prob just got close 2 that bundle of nerves running through your ass. what part of the glute did u poke? still if is is infected it'll b warm 2 the touch and most likely mushy 2 the touch. if it gets worse day by day get it checked out cause an infection is no joke!!

It has became less sore yesterday and today. The day before yesterday it was sore as hell and I could barely walk or bend over. Its still sore now but not as sore. It is still swollen but no that you can see. It's a raised spot on the right side of my lower back about the size of a quarter. I think it's getting better but I have another shot coming tomorrow. What should I do? skip the shot and wait or continue on?

Also, I did clean the injection site be for injecting and I took a warm shower. Its not the injection site that hurts. The injection site was wore but no pain. The pain came from mt lower back.

im also on my first cycle of test e and i know exactly what you're talking about!!!! sometimes, mainly right at the first of the cycle right at the top of my ass where my spine ends(the spot right before my ass starts curving out) would have a little pain. it was more of an uncomfortable feeling than pain but it felt like i needed to stretch it out or have it massaged out. its a wierd pain taht i have never felt before and when i did squats i felt it the most! for the most part it is gone stopped happening after about week 4

thats the spot I am talking about but it is more sore than anything. If i touch it it is sore, if i bend over it is sore. i is hard to get up out of a chair somtimes becasue of the pain. there is no brusing or redness. just soreness. im not sure about what to do. i wonder what my friend was talking about when he told me that it can cause soreness at the bottom of youre back. he told me this before i even started so he didnt make it up.

Same exact thing happened to me. I'm on test c though. Shot myself in the ass, was nervous for the first shot, moved the needle too much. The next day...oh sh*t, the pain got worst and worst as the days went on. The lower back pain lasted the longest. I would say it took a good week and a half to go away. Ibuprofen was a life saver. I think the body gets used to it plus your technique gets better giving less pain with more injections (my experience). I've begun injecting the thigh w/ 25gauge 1 inch needles w/ warming the test c. Works great. Really doesn't hurt.

i thought it was prolly just in my head or i had did too much on squats. that makes me feel better that i wasnt just worried about everything that was going on in me cause i was on my first cycle and didnt know what to expect. i didnt do anything about it and just stretched a little more but it is gone now. let me know if yours goes away, but what your describing sounds just like what i had! i remember getting up off the couch and it hurting me!
