Needle Sterilizing

We went to 4 major pharmacies in the area and everyone is no longer selling 21-23g, 1.5" 3cc needles, only insulin syringes. What is the proper way to sterilize a used needle?

You don't. Re-using needles is just asking for problems....not a good practice.

Dont do it. Order from AR, but remember they are research chemicals

get them online..although u steralize the syringe the needle becomes dull enough after drawing and then injecting by the 2nd time its less then 1/2 as sharp and it will make it hard to stick urself

Tho i know some of us have made the mistake of attempting to sterilise and re-use.

I know from personal experience that it's like trying to poke yourself with a pencil

And there's always the risk of infection.

You Can Reuse The Syringe But Not The Needle

the ONLY way to truely sterilize it is to autoclave it.. and unless u have one of those and then are in a sterile room w/ sterile wrappers to cover the syringe/pin i suggest you justget another for 9 CENTS per syringe to buy a box and have it over'nighted- buy online that is
