1st Glute shot!!

i took my first glute shot on friday night and my right butt cheek hurts like hell today. It kinda of hurt yesterday but nothing like today. I can barely sit on my ass in front of the tv. Is this normal, my bro did the shot in which he has tons and tons of experience shooting some darts. He says its is due to alcohol in the shot but i dunno. We mixed some bd test and some bd equipose, he said that would be cool because they are both oils. Is there anything i can do to avoid this much pain 2 days later? Or is it like they say "no pain no gain".

Virgin muscle. You will get used to it. Take a hot shower before the shot and after the shot you can massage the area and apply heat to the area. Welcome to the club
