    BP question

I know Blood pressure goes up when lifting and duing cardio but what is a normal level?

Reason I am asking is because I had a resting echocardiogram done two weeks ago and it was great. I just had a Stress Echocardiogram done on Tues and myh heart looks very healthy but my BP tends to get high when on the treadmill. My resting bp was 115/75, my BP with my heartrate at 140BPm's was 125/80, then when they really stressed the heart to 185 bpm's it went up to like 180/85. He said my heart looked great but this was a little high even for the stress the heart was under.

So what is a normal level when doing Cardio that intense? He said I am very healthy but just to keep an eye on it.

BTW- I know this doesn't pertain to AAS but I didn't know where to put it.

Strange Frankie, glad to see the test went ok.. I was wondering about it. I'll probably get the same thing in about a month so I'll compare my results.

Sorry don't have an answer to your question.

    NP kiddo

Yea def go get them done..I have to wear a Holter from Tues to Thurs so my heart rythems can be checked and make sure there are no skipped beats. Skipped beats are actually common it's when your heart skips more than once in a row when things get bad.

I am really happy I am able to get these tests done because it gives you a great piece of mind. It was funny because when I was on the treadmill with all the sensors hooked up to me I felt like Ivan Drago in Rocky haha

The Dr also goes "your not taking steroids are ya" lol I said ummm yea.

lol, what'd he say in response?

Pretty sure I'll get asked the same question, don't think I'll say "yea" though, probably whip out a protein bar and take it down in one smoothe bite.

    lolol

He started giving me "The Talk" but he said thanks for being honest because it makes his job 1000x's easier to diagnose things.

I asked him about the BP when running like that he said it was fine just to keep an eye on things. I never do cardio that intense anyhow lol

I wouldn't say yeah unless you know for sure he would keep it out of your file. For insurance reasons!
