FuKed up my INjection I think

SO i just did an injection and i got my buddy to aspirate and everything and he says no blood came in the needle at all...but when he pulled it out, i looked in the front of the barrel and there were little red dots of blood... ( i think after he pulled the needle out, i may have pulled the plunger back, thus causing the little amount of blood from the needle contact on my glutes to come into the gage)....but the thing im worried about is what if i injected ind a vein? Its been roughly 10 minutes...when would I notice if I did ? Please help, any comments are welcome

There will be no mistaking if you injected into a vein. I'd say you're fine.

I feel perfectly fine....now that I think of it...if he aspirated and injected the juice in...there is no way any blood could have ended up in the barrel, unless i pulled back on the plunger after it was out of my glutes....i hope....does anyone know how long it would take to feel it in your veins, jsut incase i did tho?

That happened to me once before. It freaked me out when I saw that, but I felt fine.

so what happens after that heart beat? cause when you go to the ER they inject IV's into your veins and everythings ok........... whats the deal with gear in your veins? i dont want to try it and find out nor do i go without asperating but im curious the difference in gear and medicine going in? does it have to do with gear being oil based?

There is a big difference in medicince that is meant to be injected IV and stuff that is meant to be injected IM. Juice has oil in it and oil is not meant to be in blood or injected IV. So what happens is, when you accidentally inject into a vein the body see's it as a foreign object. The vein carries it to the lungs where it is detected and the lungs then have the job of trying to expell it. It does that by inducing uncontrollable coughing fits.

id freak out if that happened to me! so when you inject into a vein do you loose that shot, meaning do your lungs some how remove the gear from your system?? or do you go through your coughing spell and your body still uses the gear same as if it were IM?

Not sure but I imagine you would lose it. You wouldnt get af full shit in anyway, you would be coughing so hard you wouldnt be able to finish it

good lord, so you aint kidding about one heart beat and you'd know you were in a vein! thanks for the info!
