    when drawing from a vial...

is it 1 full cc with the front or top of the balck stopper is right at the "1" with fluid in and ll the way up through the needlle?

or is it 1 full cc from the first balck line on the syringe to the line marked 1, with no fluid beyong the first line and up through the needle?

reason im asking is im drawing sust from a 10cc bottle and i do not think im going to reach 10cc, more like like 7 or 8

am i drawing too much at once?

IMHO...Do not measure from the TIP of the plunger. measure from the top of the level part of the plunger. the point is there to push as much of what is left in the needle as it can......hope this helps

I use a little air to back up the oil and get it all. Nurses use this technique

Interesting.....I thought I read it somewhere that the tip was there just to push out what is in the needle.....oh well, what do i know....LOLOL
guess it is such a minut amount that it won't matter in the long run

i thought you were talking about the back of the rubber end on the plunger.
then i realize what you meant when you said
measure from the top of the level part of the plunger.
so i think we where on the same track originally.
