MMA Fighter Question Regarding Cycle
I am looking into a future (first) cycle. I am a competitive mixed martial artist and would not be looking to gain much in terms of mass. I would be more interested in strength development, without hampering aerobic/anaerobic conditioning.
I have approximately 6% body fat at the moment. I am not in need of extra fat loss. My interest is primarily strength without size.
Most of my research has pointed me in the direction of Winstrol . Certain training partners however have suggested that a cycle of Winstrol alone will not produce significant improvements. They instead recommend stacking with something such as Deca and Nilevar .
I am not interested in bulking however, only strength, so I am not interested in such a stack.
So, can Winstrol be taken alone for a first cycle, and if so, will it lead to noticeable strength gains? My strength workouts focus largely on lower rep work. Volume is minimized to prevent mass gains.
Also, are there better options, considering my goals? I have the ability to get almost anything.
Any feedback is appreciated, particularly from any fellow fighters who have advise on a first cycle.
Thank you in advance,
MW

I have looked into it. One source suggests only 20-40 mg/day. Do you agree? For Winstrol , it seems as though 50 mg is more in line with recommended daily dosage.
With either, I would be taking tablets. I realize that this may not be the most effective use, but it is my only option.
In terms of strength development, how would you rate Anavar vs. Winstrol?
In terms of cycle duration, is 6 to 8 weeks enough time to generate significant results (while busting ass in the gym of course)?

Post your stats
age height weight b/f%
Why don't you want to go up in mass? Is it that you would be bumped up to another weight class and have to fight big mutha f'ers. J/K Best thing that I can tell you is that consuming Anavar 100mg per day for 12 weeks may be right up your alley but the price is what is going to kill you, in my opinion try running a test cycle for 12 weeks with pct and see how that affects your training, who knows you might like it

Body fat is around 6%. I walk around at 175. I do not want to gain weight, as my manager has opportunities for me in my current class. Jumping classes will not happen for at least 2+ years.
If I gain too much mass, the cycle will be of little value. We are basically looking for something that will allow us to crank up the intensity/strength for a training camp that would be 12 weeks or less (probably 8 to 10 realistically). The training would be very strenuous, so any assistance with recovery/strength gains would be on point, hence our initial look into Winstrol .
It appears that you are more in favor of Anavar however.

HALOTESTIN . This drug is very popular mainly only among fighters and powerlifters as it delivers MASSIVE strength gains w/o muscle gain to avoid going up a weight class.....your strength will go through the roof! I've heard strength gains may compare to tren w/o killing your cardio.....hardcore androgen, some take halo just for the agression that it gives in the gym or especially in the ring. Very toxic though, probably shouldn't run halo for more than 4 wks. Do some research on it, may be what you're looking for

From what I've read halotestin is the most toxic in terms of liver damage. Could following up with milk thistle afterwards minimize the damage?
Almost sounds like winny may be better, just because it is safer long-term. I need to do some more research on halotestin. Definitely sounds interesting though. It would be nice to be on a short 4 week cycle, considering the strength gains that would follow.
Decisions, decisions...

I like anavar because it is safer and it can be run for longer times than the other two after mentioned enhancements. The in my opinion ana is better than halo.
