Is it small blisters? How fast did the rash appear? di you notice skin sensitivity in the days before the rash occured? Is it only on one side of your face.

Hard to actually say without seeing a picture of the rash, but it could be Shingles.

Unfortunately you can catch many things from working out in a gym. If anyone else had something and you used the same dumbells or equipment then rubbed your eyes or nose you could contract a variety of things. I am always conscious of not touching my face while working out for just such reasons. If it is shingles you will definately want to go to the doctor and get medicine. Sorry bro and I hope you are feeling better soon.

Shingles only effects one side of your body, so it probably isn't Shingles for that reason alone.

As Oki-Des said, it really could be anything, best to go see your Doc mate ASAP.

I would rule out a shaving rash, especially if it is on your eyelids and around your nose.

    Good Luck buddy!

did you recently change soap/shampoo/whatevs? Take some benedryl if you can. I had a similar experience and ended up going to the emerg-room and they gave me a shot of benedryl and it cleared up in 24 hours. Feel better

Don't be foolish, shingles come out of your skin just like psoriasis and can breakout anywhere you have skin

Sounds like you got an alergic reaction to something, GO SEE A DOCTOR!

Sorry but get your facts straight before you call someone foolish:

You may feel slightly unwell, and develop a localised area of pain and tenderness a few days or sometimes up to two weeks before the rash appears. The rash starts off as red spots, which quickly turn into blisters. They always affect only one side of the body (left or right) and never cross the midline. This is because they come out on the area of skin which is supplied by one particular nerve.
Taken from www.medinfo.co.uk but exactly the same is stated on all medical sites regarding shingles. I have also had shingles, and know for a fact it only effects one side of your body.

    1-0 to me!
