this one kid at my gym told me his idiot friend of his did a 18 WEEK cyle of d-bol! now he's in the hospital cuz he was puking up "GREEN stuff". Its pretty obvious he messed the old liver up. I was just wondering if you guys have ever heard this before, and if so, if the persons involved recouped. I mean with all the guys on here im sure you have friends or known stupid ppl who ran orals to long and had liver problems, so i was curious if you have seen anything similar to this before.
I would think after enough time perhaps his liver may be able to rejenerate. From what i have been reading lately, the liver seems pretty resiliant. But 18 weeks of d-bol...i dunno.

the question is what was he using?how much and for how long?...My sis is a nurse and she has told me about people who come in with liver disease and infections.She has told how disclored they come ...almost yellow and doubled over but never puking green stuff.It mightve not been AAS. he might have had a pre existing condition.

What a dumbass, but the liver is the most resilient organ in the body if he takes care of it after this he should be ok. After he gets better send him here and tell him to read up so he doesnt do something stupid like that again.

not sure about the dosages, but even on a mild dose of d-bol,18 weeks is pushin it. of course i have heard of pros taking d-bol regulalry in the offseason for extended periods.

like one of you said, it may have been a previous condition which was exasperated by the d-bol.

i hated to hear this about this kid. there is just no reason for it. even the cheapest most basic steroid book would tell you not to go more than a few weeks on a harsh oral.
And it's true, its idiots like him that ruin it for the rest of us.

Just goes to show you ....one thing I stress always is the indivual resilience people have.I know ahd have know guys to stay on anadrol 2 months at 150 to 200 mgs a day and nothing.Ive seen a couple of boys eat 10 -15 dbol at atime and laugh about it.Then you get one guy that will do minimal and just be totally tore up.All you can do is shake your head.

Ask his friend if his skin and eyes were turning colors. I had an alcoholic uncle who died of liver disease, and his eyes and skin were yellow in the later stages.

Dose may explain a lot.

It's interesting because of the studies I've read finding minimal liver damage with use of up to 1 year.
It may have not been just Dbol but a list of factors.
