Not necessarily an abcess. He may have injected too fast, Could be the prop in the sust, Add heat and massage the area. Keep an eye on it for a day or two so it does not get worse. If no improvement in a day or two, then seek medical attention.

    I agree with the above.

The heat brings blood to the area...The blood in the area will help dispurse the and break up the lump.

That makes sense. Should you use heat after every shot?

Yes applying heat and massaging the area will help disperse the oil throughout the muscle with each injection.
I inject then take a hot shower and massage while in shower.
If applying heat, 15-20 min should be enough, but you can do it several times a day if the area still hurts

    Hope this helps

bump the heating pad. I'd have many a limp days had it not been for one of these fine creations. I personally only use the heating pad when needed. Sometimes when I shoot in my quads I'll hit a spot where it dosen't agree and I'll be sore for a few days afterwards. Delts and tris are two places where I've never had to use a heating pad.

you can also run the hot water on the site while you take a shower ....just aim the hot water (as hot as you can take it) right on the site and let the water hit it for a while ...feels good.
